FC SEMO breaks ground for new Kennett Branch Office

Farm Credit Southeast Missouri builds new roots as it breaks ground on the new Kennett facility.

Farm Credit Southeast Missouri hosted the official groundbreaking of the new Kennett Branch Office in Kennett, Missouri, on June 19, 2025.

Vice President / Branch Manager Matthew Poole, accompanied by the Association's Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Branch Staff, and a large group of family, friends, and co-workers, celebrated the occasion with ceremonial groundbreaking shovels to commemorate the day. Construction is now officially underway, and the new office is scheduled to be completed by summer, 2026.

"This new facility is a testament to our commitment to serving the hardworking farmers and businesses that make this region thrive," said Greg Cunningham, Farm Credit Southeast Missouri President / CEO.

Farm Credit Southeast Missouri's current Kennett Branch Office was established in 1975 and been servicing farmers in the area for 50 years. The new branch office will provide enhanced accessibility, improved space and technology, and a renewed dedication to the Kennett area, said Cunningham.

"We are excited for this long-term investment to our area's ag community," said Poole. "Farm Credit Southeast Missouri has been serving agriculture for over 100 years in our trade area, and for the last 50 years out of the same location in Kennett. Because of our customer loyalty and support, this new office symbolizes our commitment to the successful future of farming and ag-related business."
