Why Farm Credit
Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, a member of the nationwide Farm Credit System, has been serving the farmers of Southeast Missouri for more than 100 years. The Farm Credit System was established for the sole purpose to support American agriculture by making loans to qualified borrowers at competitive rates and providing insurance and related services. And Farm Credit Southeast Missouri has been doing just that, generation after generation, standing side by side with our customers through innovative lending and individual customer care.

Customer-Owned Cooperative
Farm Credit Southeast Missouri is an independent, cooperative organization owned and controlled by the farmers who borrow from it. A Board of Directors, elected from the customer-owners along with two outside directors, is responsible for representing the best interests of the organization and its borrowers. We are a customer-owned cooperative.
Patronage Refund Program
Our customer-owners share in the profits of the cooperative in the form of patronage refunds. As a customer-owner, patronage refunds reduce the effective cost of borrowing by reducing net interest rates - putting our profits in your pockets.
Since 1994, Farm Credit Southeast Missouri has paid back more than $120 million to its customer-owners through its 100% Cash Patronage Refund Program!
