Farm Credit Southeast Missouri, Jackson Branch Office, is seeking a full-time Senior Loan Officer.
Job Description
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Vice President / Branch Manager, the Senior Loan Officer will provide all credit and related services to borrowers in accordance with established policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. Duties include:
- Provide and promote credit services and financial counseling to members.
- Within the overall marketing plan of the service center, assist in administering an effective new business and customer retention program to maximize loan volume consistent with sound lending practices in the assigned area.
- Assist in administering sound lending in processing applications, analyzing records, approving collateral, analyzing repayment ability, making sound loan recommendations, loan approvals, and loan servicing functions.
Requirements: Must be very customer service oriented with exceptional sales skills and a positive work attitude. Have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Business with a farming or ag-business background. Five years of lending /credit experience preferred. Must have a strong sales background and enjoy making sales calls to farmers.
